As the coronavirus pandemic exploded across America in the spring of 2020, universities went virtual at a key time in their business cycle—freshman admission and confirmation season. Created in response to that existential crisis, the “Your Moment” website was designed and built (in under two weeks) to replace the traditional in-person events for Drexel’s newly-admitted students, and drive them to confirm their enrollment. Aggregating fun content, university statistics, and confirmation info into one location makes the site a valuable ongoing enrollment tool.
I executed UI/UX design with an emphasis on content hierarchy, accessibility, and brand elevation, working 1:1 with front-end developers to implement. Additionally, I functioned as lead project manager on an extremely compressed timeline, with responsibilities including frequent communication with project stakeholders, Kanban board management, and removal of roadblocks preventing rapid progress.
This project received Best in Show and 1st Place in the "Websites" category at the 2020 Pepperpot Awards [PDF], presented by the Philadelphia PRSA.
